The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) recently recognized Clover Park School District’s Community Relations Department with two more awards:
- Award for Excellence for the district’s 2005-06 annual report; and
- Award of Honorable Mention for the district’s external newsletter for community members, Inside Schools.
There were 1,052 entries in this year’s Publications and Electronic Media Contest. In the publications portion, there were 801 entries; 83 received Awards of Excellence, 220 received Awards of Merit and 144 received Awards of Honorable Mention.
Copies of Clover Park’s 2005-06 annual report will be on display in the Publications Exchange Center at NSPRA’s National Seminar, which will be held in Chicago in July.
“School districts from across the nation submit their publications and projects for evaluation in the contest,” said Kim Prentice, director of community relations. “We’re proud that some of our work has been recognized.”
