Clover Park School District, in cooperation with BCRA, one of the largest multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering firms in the South Puget Sound region, recently launched a new web site to provide citizens with updated information about school construction projects.
On Feb. 7, 2006, Clover Park School District voters supported a $65 million school construction bond to:
- Renovate and modernize 44-year-old, Lakes High School ($55 million); and
- Construct a new Lakeview Elementary School ($10 million), in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound.
“It is important that our voters are informed of the progress we are making on these projects,” said Superintendent Dr. Doris McEwen. “We are excited to get started and want to demonstrate that the district is a good steward of taxpayer dollars and show how tax dollars are being spent.”
The construction project Web site will be updated as new information becomes available.
