Land Use and Group Homes will be the subject of a June 21 (6:30 p.m.) Planning Advisory Board of the City of Lakewood. Two amendments would:
- add Master Plan development requirements for properties greater than 20-acres in size and located in the Public/Institutional zoning district;
- categorize a Master Plan as a Process III Permit Type; and
- revise development standards for Type 3 and 4 Group Homes
Type 3 and 4 Group Homes are generally described as group care homes, halfway houses, pre- and work-release facilities for juveniles or adults under the jurisdiction of the criminal justice system.
