Titus Will Investments will open both new and used car dealerships on Pacific Highway in Lakewood. The new car location will be across the street from the Sounder Station and the used lot will be at 108th. Both are scheduled to open in 2007.
The city manager and Councilman Richardson will attend a May 2-5 Atlanta conference titled “Responding to BRAC”. The conference is hosted by the Department of Defense and participants attend at DoD expense.
About 325 citizens participated in Parks Appreciation Day.
In an April 20 liquor and cigarette sales compliance check, one store (out of the 14) sold to a decoy minor. The store clerk (76 Station at 10712 Bridgeport) was cited and released.
The city is seeking bids to construct a 5-foot wide gravel shoulder along Steilacoom Blvd (northwest corner of Steilacoom Blvd and Ardmore Dr/Custer Rd intersection). Low bid is approximately $21,000.
