Angela Audorff, a 2000 graduate of Clover Park High School and 2002 graduate of Pierce College will be setting and performing in "The Nutcracker Ballet" for Washington Contemporary Ballet School (Tacoma) to be held at the new Mt. Tahoma High School Auditorium Dec. 16 and 17.
This performance will be dedicated in memory of the school’s founder, the late Kay Englert, who died of cancer on Feb. 13. Englert’s original choreography will be used along with that of Audorff, Stephanie Wood, and Kevin Kaiser, former Associate Artistic Director of Oregon Ballet Theatre. Many local dancers and adults from our community will be performing.
Washington Contemporary Ballet, under the direction of Ken Kaiser, is a non profit organization committed to the enhancement and growth of all offerings to its students and the public.
The Ballet would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who have contributed towards this production and in turn enabled children from the Boys and Girls Club of America a chance to attend free!
