From 12:00 to 1:00pm at the STAR Center in Tacoma during the National Small Business Week 2016, May 1 -7, Timberland Bank provides local expert that will educate participants on key topics including Social Media, Legal, Marketing/Business Development, Finance and Employee Retention.
Timberland Bank understands that small businesses are the economy’s life blood and therefore, it is important that small businesses are supported to grow and develop. Participants are free to attend one or as many as they wish by simply registering for the event at sbaweek.eventbrite.com to get their complimentary tickets.
Each day, there will be a local expert that will help discuss each topic. On Monday, Business Development will be discussed by Mark Anderson. He will show how small businesses can develop “unfair competitive advantage” and become the only logical choice of their prospects. The next day is when Social Media will be tackled by Robert Nissenbaumm, social media consultant. This is when participants can learn of how to effectively use Facebook for their small business.
Wednesday, Michael Smith and Kevin Dunn who are legal veterans will discuss the common Legal issues that small business owners often have to face and exactly how to fix the problem. On Thursday, Aaron Donaldson helps small businesses on Employee Retention, how to attract and hang onto the best employees for the business. On the last day of the series, Friday, is when Paul Long will help businesses to know what banks are looking for when lending money to small businesses.
The speaker series is a great opportunity for small business owners to learn. It is free of cost and nothing will be sold during the events which mean participants will be there only to learn from experts. As it will happen during the National Small Business Week this 2016, small business owners can be sure that it is a great opportunity where they can learn of innovation and global competitiveness for the growth, development and success of their business.
