TACOMA – Premier Media Group is pleased to announce the hiring of Gary Rubin as advertising director for its latest publication, 425 Business magazine.
Rubin joins 425 Business with a wealth of experience in media management, corporate development and partnership strategies, as well as a strong history of opening new market segments with a proven ability to forge key customer and industry relationships. Prior to 425 Business, he was director of sales and corporate support for KCTS public television in Seattle and has held similar positions with KEXP public radio and The Seattle Times Company.
“When the opportunity presented itself to add Gary to our team, we jumped at the chance,” said Josh Dunn, president of Premier Media Group. “Gary has tons of relevant experience and a personality that will hopefully help carry our team to further greatness.”
Rubin holds a bachelor of arts in journalism from The University of Georgia and a bachelor of arts in drawing and sculpture from The University of Oregon. He lives with his wife in Kirkland and has two daughters and a granddaughter. Rubin heads the list of other recent Premier Media Group hires. They include:
Account executive Jaurdey Samuel comes to Premier Media Group with an exciting energy and love for the Eastside. He has worked for companies such as Johnson & Johnson and the University of Washington, and side by side with venture capitalists operating lucrative business investments.
Digital content producer Marjorie Clark comes to Premier Media Group with a strong background in journalism and a burning love for social media. Her writing has appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune, the Daily Utah Chronicle, Wasatch Magazine and the Ketchikan Daily News. She grew up in sunny, dry Southern California, and spent the past year rain-soaked in Southeast Alaska, which means the Eastside’s weather is just about perfect.
Account executive Kate Leverson earned her bachelor’s degree in business and communications from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and has developed a background in sales and marketing. Since her move to Tacoma, she’s worked as marketing coordinator and administrative support in the real estate and mortgage industries.
Customer service specialist Nicole Logan joined Premier Media Group after spending the last seven years as the Seattle representative for Alternative Press magazine, and one year in radio promotions with Spirit 105.3 FM.
