Lakewood: Champions for Youth Breakfast, March 28

LAKEWOOD, Wash. – Help Communities In Schools celebrate their 20th anniversary by taking part in the Champions for Youth Breakfast on Thursday, March 28, 7:00 a.m. at the Old Country Buffet in Lakewood Towne Center. Our featured keynote speaker, David Pritchard, assistant Clover Park football coach, motivational speaker and author of the book, “Going Public: Your Child Can Thrive in Public School”, has deep roots in Lakewood. David and his wife, Kelli, have indeed helped their 11 children and hundreds of other kids in Lakewood to “succeed in school and achieve in life”.

Communities In Schools of Lakewood impacts 1,500 students every year through After-School, Mentor and Readiness To Learn Programs.  Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
